We design workspaces. We build careers.

Micdee is a workspace design and build consultancy based in Lagos, Nigeria. We are a team of nearly 60 professionals; architects, interior designers, quantity surveyors, project managers, procurement specialists, and operations leaders united by a single belief: that great workspaces change the way people work and who they become.

We have spent eight years delivering for some of Nigeria's most recognised organisations. The next chapter of that story is being written now. If you want to be part of it, we want to hear from you.

What Design Means at Micdee?

Design is not a decoration. It is a decision.

At Micdee, every design choice; from a spatial layout to a material specification to a lighting detail is made with intention. We are not designing for photographs. We are designing for the people who will spend eight, ten, twelve hours a day in the spaces we create.

That conviction runs through every team in the business. Whether you are a designer developing a concept, a project manager running a site, or a quantity surveyor building a cost plan, you are part of a firm that takes what it does seriously; and holds itself to a standard that most firms do not reach.

Who We Work With

Clients who take their workspaces seriously.

Our client roster spans multinational corporations, fast-growing fintechs, international organisations, and ambitious Nigerian businesses. MTN, PwC, PiggyVest, Softcom, Sterling Bank, Nexford University, the United Nations World Food Programme; these are the organisations that trust Micdee with their most important working environments.

We stand beside our clients from the first strategic conversation to the final handover. If that kind of engagement appeals to you, you will thrive here.

Our Growth

Eight years. Nearly 60 people. We are just getting started.

Micdee was founded in 2017. Since then we have grown to a team of nearly 60 professionals, delivered workspaces for over 150 organisations, and expanded our ambitions to include markets across West Africa.

We are not a firm that has stopped growing. We are a firm that is building the structure, the talent, and the methodology to deliver at a scale and standard that few firms in Nigeria have reached. The people who join us now are the ones who will shape what Micdee becomes next.

A culture build on standards, not slogans

Micdee is not a firm that talks about excellence and then delivers mediocrity.
The culture here is built around the actual work; the standard of a drawing, the quality of a site, the professionalism of a client conversation. We push each other to be better because we genuinely believe that the work we do matters.

At the same time, we are a human organisation. We celebrate together, support each other through difficulty, and make space for people to grow at their own pace while meeting the firm's standard. Leadership is accessible, feedback is direct, and the door is open.

Shared Accountability

Everyone at Micdee; from interns to senior leaders own the quality of work. There are no passengers here.

EOY Celebration

Every year before Christmas, Micdee closes for a week and the whole team comes together for a day of celebration; past events have included a black-tie dinner, a beach day, and a team dinner. We take the work seriously. We also know how to have a good time.

Young and Experienced

Our team has an average age of 30. We are young in energy and ambition, and increasingly experienced in the complexity of enterprise-level delivery.

Diversity

60% of Micdee's senior management positions are held by women. Our team represents a wide range of backgrounds, cultures, and disciplines — and we believe that diversity makes the work better.

Hybrid Working

All full-time employees, contractors, and interns work from home two days per week. We trust our people to manage their time and deliver their best work wherever they are.

Parental Leave

Female employees receive three months of fully supported maternity leave. Male employees receive two weeks of paternity leave. Your position is guaranteed when you return.

TGIF

Every afternoon of the last Friday of every month is yours. We close out the month together; sometimes with food, sometimes with a game, always with the team.

Growth and Development

As Micdee grows, the people inside it grow with it. We promote from within wherever possible and invest in the development of our team through mentorship, exposure, and responsibility.

Real Projects from Day One

Whether you are joining as an intern or a senior hire, you will be on live projects immediately. There is no long onboarding period on the sidelines at Micdee.
